Continuing my Seasonal Deities Concept, Summer to me is the time for outdoor adventures. So naturally, my personification of summer is a reckless, fun-loving individual (presented evidently in concept 2).
However, I also explored other possibilities for his design. For no. 1, I thought of summer as a time for growth, as summer is the time where bountiful plants are harvested. But the heat can also be scalding (hence I presented him older and covered).
As for no. 3, I thought of summer as an angsty teen. Following my seasonal deities, Winter is the eldest, spring follows as second eldest, summer would be the youngest, and fall would be older than summer. He'd be the more rebellious out of all the four, and shrugs off responsibility.
